How I saved My school from being Hijacked

It was a regular school day, I got ready for school and waited for the school van. "Damn! Why do I even have to go? It's not as if something new is gonna happen," I said to myself. But who knew, something perilous was waiting for me!

Everyone had already reached school and were heading to the assembly hall. We were just about to sing the national anthem when we heard a strange cacophony. We were all confused. Some of us peeked outside.

There was chaos everywhere. "Was that a blast?!" cried someone. "Are we under attack?!" shrieked another one. The teachers tried to calm everyone down. I went outside to check what was going on. I saw nothing and no one. Just when I turned back to go back inside I felt a pain. I couldn't move, even a bit. I touched my back, it was still paining. I looked at my hand, I could see- I could see my hand was covered with blood. Before I could think of anything else, I fainted.

I don't know how long I was laying down on the floor, but when I opened my eyes, I could see that there were people, wearing black dress and face mask, with guns pointing at the students and the teachers. I wanted to run and scream, but I was paralyzed.

I tried to crawl and luckily no one saw me. I thought they were thinking I am probably dead. I crawled a bit faster, still no one noticed me. Then I stood up quickly and tried to run, but my back was hurting a lot. I walked slowly, towards the school gate.

That's when I heard someone saying," Where did the principal go? Go and check him. Make sure he doesn't run away." Then I saw a man with a gun in his hand coming in my direction. I hid behind a wall and he kept on walking.

I was happy for a second, then I looked at the gate, then I checked my surrounding. "All clear!" I said to myself. I started to walk towards the gate again. At last, I reached the gate. I looked around, and that was a huge mistake I did. Two of my school's guards were dead. Their body were lying on the ground. It looked disgusting and smelled disgusting.

Am I doing a good thing, I asked to myself. running away like a loser when my friends are about to die. Am I supposed to betray them like this when they actually need me?

I looked at school, and then the dead bodies. No, I won't let them die, I told to myself, I am gonna save them!!
